J Roger Davis- is an American R&B Soul-Singer from down South. Since the release and debut of Southern Heritage 02. and his follow-up release, “The Reflecting Pool” with his band IBEJI, he has since showcased his Soulful sound at BB King’s Blues Club at the CMA’s Music Festival in Nashville and The Band Jam Music Festival Cooper’s Lake, The Rock Station 97.7 Davis volunteers at the East End Community Mission and food pantry in East Pittsburgh. He supports Fostering The Music, a non-profit that provide music lessons to underserved children and active in his community with Read With Me Pittsburgh, a community centered adult literacy developmental reading program created during the pandemic to provide communication and socialization activities for adults with learning disabilities and persons with special needs. For many years he has facilitated artist residencies in classrooms and schools with Poetry Alive!, Asheville, NC. This year, he published his first book, “The Firefly Detective”
